The Federal TRIO Programs are educational opportunity programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. TRIO includes six outreach and support programs targeted to serve and assist low-income, first-generation college, and disabled students to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to post-baccalaureate study. Project GRAD
Project GRAD is a nonprofit K-16 school reform model that is currently underway in 10 school districts across the country. The mission of the program is to ensure a quality public education for all children in economically disadvantaged communities to increase high school graduation rates and prepare graduates to be successful in college.
